			<description><![CDATA[ i have a 60s gretsch snare that has a warped
          shell... It is not too warped to fit a remo head but it
          seems to have some sagging near where the snare fits. Is
          this a pointless venture or should I attempt to repair
          it. (perhaps with controlled humidity some clamps, and
          some forms cut to fit the shell...)<br><br>

          real interested in whats going on. i currently have a
          tama imperial star that I am going to do a major over
          haul on. my first question is with recovering the drums.
          its currently is covered in jet black covering and its
          pretty beat up so I was wondering if there is a way to
          take it off and recover it. I will most likely recover it
          with vaneer since my dad works with vaneer.... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ a problem with tung oil ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I am doing a project for a customer I sanded the
          shell down put a plumb color bass (dyd) and them I used
          an airbrush to do black dye fade. I let it sit for a day
          wiped off the excess and put clear tung on the shell. On
          the black area the tung will not cover. It just stays
          dull. I have not done alot of tung oil. Let me know what

          the final wet sanding of tung oil finish.<br> But I
          have a question. All I have used is lacquer. What am I
          looking for when I wet sand on a tung finish? Like with
          lacquer first wet sand was with 400-600 grit and you were
          looking to get RID OF ALL THE SHINY SPOTS. Make shell
          completely hazy. Then each subsequent grit removed the
          previous haze/scratches until you were using cut... ]]></description>

          dsh and got them within 4 days and i also ordered a shell
          and it came today and it hasn't even been like 2 1/2
          weeks usually drum shells take 6 weeks (or at least i
          thought they did) anyways i would highly recommend doing
          business with them and i am very pleased with everything.

          aerosol (spray) color on top of the water-based dye
          color? Will the chemical composition on the spray color
          disturb or ruin the dye color below it? Any side effect
