So did I, Rudy, so did I. I've applied for two positions at the local community college but both of them are upper-end slots in the law enforcement
program; they'll probably fill them from within and make one or two instructor openings that would frankly be more my meat. I'm also reapplying with a
background investigator contracting firm and might try for the DART, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, as an officer there, or with Blackwater as a stateside
instructor. Oh well.

Still driving the cab, six twelves a week. We got some Priuses (Prii?) and they save on our gas but we drop an additional $20 to help make the payments, so we
have to have a pretty busy day to save enough gas not to feel that fee. There are a couple openings at my old Dept. and I might apply for one of them. It'd
probably be pretty weird to go back there with no seniority, though...

Well, I did it. There ended up being 4 openings and only 9 applicants, so all I have to do is manage to be in the top 50%. I'm in the mix, just waiting on
an interview date. Badger, where are you cabbing? What does your company have, all Crown Vics, or a variety? BTW I heard the funniest taxi joke in the world
the other day. It involves a guy that makes 2 trips to Lost Wages. Let me know if you've heard it...
