Sorry, Don't know of any except here in the states
and in Germany but I am sure that one won't help you.
Maybe you can start one up there.

I too am in Canada and find the parts issue a
problem. So far I've been using old lugs and parts and
have talked to a couple machinists about making custom
lugs similar to the adonis or trick lugs. As for recycled
lugs, powdercoating is a good option to spruce them up
and clean em up. I found some good prices on that. Now
shells are a different story all together...

i came across one shell distributer before but they
werent keller shells. i forget the company now but all i
remember is that they only sold their shells and one type
of lug. theres a custom drum builder by my house who
sells hoops and some other hardwear but i cant seem to
find any distributers for shells or wraps

I'm in Canada and have been researching this for
months. I've been to U-drum in Waterdown and yeah they
get their stuff from the US. Their is also Wells Custom
Drums www.wellscustomdrums.com . I haven't been their yet
but I've talked to him a couple times through e-mail.
He's in Brantford. I think he must use US suppliers as
well judging by his prices. He mentioned that Adonis lugs
were about $10/each. I figure ordering them direct with
exchange, taxes, and duty should still come in under
$10/each, but I don't know. He quoted me a good price on
Keller shells though.
Anyone else know? |
