First off I want to thank everyone for all of the discussions here on the forum. I think you have a great community going on here and hope to become a
regular!
I have been reading through the forums pretty hardcore for the last couple of months, trying to prepare to take on my first adventure of building a snare drum.
I just recently received my 5.5" x 14" 10 ply Keller Maple shell. I had the bearing edges cut for me - but I am wanting to do the snare beds myself, as I am very picky.
I plan on finishing the shell in a couple of different glass glitter wraps with an inlay... nice and flashy.
My question is ... do you recommend that I put on my wrap first before starting in on the snare beds?
Thanks for your help!
