Hi, I am planning on designing my first drumkit.

I have been researching a ton, and have come up with a few different ideas as to what i would like to do. One idea was the use of a 20" yamaha style wood hoop on the bass drum, very preferably unfinished, but I have no idea where to find something like this, any ideas?

Also, I am thinking about either airbrushing a design onto the shell, or maybe wood burning a design into the shell.

Does anybody have any information on either of these and what the proper technique to use would be?
